For over 50 years, McIntyre Tile has been producing handmade ceramic tile in the heart of Healdsburg, California. Our tiles feature timeless glazes and durability designed to last generations.

It began in California wine country.

The McIntyre Tile Company was founded in 1972 by a group of innovative ceramicists entranced by the beauty of artisanal pottery. Inspired by the local natural landscape in Healdsburg, California, the artists designed and developed their first handmade ceramic tiles, then stoneware tiles. The resulting first collection was prized by San Francisco architects and designers for their warm, earthy look and color characteristics.

Evolving with artistry and quality built in.

When the use of color exploded in the industry during the 1980s, the McIntyre team created a pure white porcelain clay body to set the stage for new vibrant colors and clear glazes. As demand grew, so did the inventive, unique, and always beautiful product offerings. Along with its decorative tiles and hand-cut mosaics, McIntyre expanded its offerings to include special trim tiles and more shapes and sizes.
